Capacity development is one of the major competencies of WoNEE. It has been providing its expertise in capacity enhancement of women especially in the energy sector, users of energy, and service providers for livelihood enhancement. For the same, it has been promoting economic empowerment of particularly women and supporting the selection and design of energy-based enterprises. WoNEE network is capable of providing knowledge and skills for promotion of energy-based enterprises using local resources. Additionally, WoNEE help create technical employment opportunities for women via skill development activities.
